Salt adds extra flavor to what you’re eating, but too much salt can also lead to higher blood pressure. This can contribute to heart disease, strokes, kidney failures, and other health problems. On top of that, too much salt can make your body retain water, making you look (and feel) more bloated.
I remember someone was telling me not to put too much salt in my food. I LOVE salt and food without a fair bit of salt is not that tasty.
